The change follows the launch of the new streaming service HBO Max today.<\/p>\n<p>Apple TV Channel first launched last year as a way to view content from many different service providers across all apps, which means you have to view different content between different third-party apps Will not bounce. The contract, it seems, is due to contract negotiations, the Wall Street Journal reports, which is why the HBO Max app is not available on Amazon Fire Devices or Roku.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon is accusing AT&amp;T of the dispute, in a statement given for the ownership of HBO Max operator WarnerMedia:<\/p>\n<div class=\"leftbar-blockquote\">With a seamless customer experience, nearly 5 million HBO streamers currently access their subscription through Amazon\u2019s Prime Video Channels. Unfortunately, with the launch of HBO Max, AT&amp;T is choosing to deny these loyal HBO customers access to the expanded catalog. We believe that if you\u2019re paying for HBO, you\u2019re entitled to the new programming through the method you\u2019re already using. That\u2019s just good customer service and that\u2019s a priority for us.<\/div>\n<p id=\"0YQK2D\">WarnerMedia defended itself in this statement given\u00a0to Engadget<\/p>\n<div class=\"leftbar-blockquote\">\n<p id=\"H7MiDd\">We are thrilled that HBO Max is widely available at launch to customers through a variety of devices and distribution partners as well as HBOMax.com. Our goal is to make HBO Max available on every platform possible to as many viewers globally as possible so they can enjoy beloved shows from HBO, the Warner Bros. movie and TV library and a diversity of hit programming exclusive to HBO Max.
