As is the trend these days, the unveiling will be online-only, following in the footsteps of big virtual events from the likes of Microsoft and Apple.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s Samsung\u2019s first crack at the format. The company just made it under the pre-COVID-19 shutdown wire back in February for the Galaxy S20 launch.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung has announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on Wednesday, August 5th, at 10AM ET.<\/p>\n<p>The company is expected to reveal its new lineup of Galaxy Note 20 devices, along with a successor to its first foldable, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-next-tech.com\/gadgets\/samsung-galaxy-z-flip-gets-a-neat-exclusive-youtube-feature\/\">the Samsung Galaxy Fold<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung&#8217;s teaser is really mysterious, although by the standards of technology invitations, even though the copper color dab does match exactly the leaked pictures of the Galaxy Notice 20 Ultra &#8212; the rumored flagship of this lineup &#8212; which were posted on Samsung&#8217;s Russian site at the start of July.<\/p>\n<p>Rumors are uncharacteristically silent to what to expect, in spite of the fact that a statement is set to arrive in under a month. Even though a minumum of one real Note 20 Ultra apparatus has made its way out to the planet already. The newest flagship will allegedly feature a triple back camera choice, such as a periscope-style lens, together with a 4th detector which seems to be a 3D ToF detector or a laser autofocus.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text-center\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Expect to see the normal bump in specs, also, with the addition of Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 865 &#8212; or maybe even the rumored Snapdragon 865 Plus &#8212; that, such as the S20 lineup earlier this season, will create 5G the default option to the new Notes along with some 120Hz refresh rate screen alternative.<\/p>\n<p>And needless to say, the Note 20 may comprise an S-Pen, possibly with a brand new tip or two up its sleeve.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung is also predicted to possess at least 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-next-tech.com\/gadgets\/samsung-galaxy-note-10-release-date-price-features-other-leaks-that-we-know-so-far\/\">Galaxy Note 20 versions<\/a> &#8212; a smaller Galaxy Note 20, and also the bigger Note 20 Ultra, though specifics are slim on exactly what the differences will probably be (besides dimensions.)<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-next-tech.com\/review\/samsung-galaxy-s10e-reviews\/\">followup into the Galaxy Fold<\/a> &#8212; allegedly termed the Galaxy Z Twist 2, to combine the branding of Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy Z Switch from before this season, each SamMobile &#8212; has been rumored to contain a bigger internal 7.7-inch screen, maybe with a touchscreen very similar to Samsung&#8217;s additional flagship phones. Specs are also expected to receive a boost, too, even though there&#8217;s no details out there just yet.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the event could see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-next-tech.com\/review\/samsung-is-introducing-artificial-intelligence-in-galaxy-s9-for-user-experience\/\">announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip<\/a> 5G, which has already been revealed courtesy of China\u2019s TENAA certification center.<\/p>\n<p>That device will reportedly feature a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and a slight drop in overall battery capacity compared to the earlier LTE version<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Samsung\u2019s next big Unpacked event is scheduled for August 5.
