Gmail is building up its integration with Microsoft Office files, allowing users to directly edit Office documents that they receive in attachments.<\/p>\n
Users are able to edit documents out of Google’s own Workspace suite directly within Gmail for a while, however the Office integration is fresh. Previously, users have to open these records in the Google Workspace suite until they can make any modifications.<\/p>\n
You can now edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents<\/a> without leaving Gmail<\/a>, and while keeping the record’s original file format.
