In Erik Ten Hag's debut Premier League match as Man United manager, Brighton wins at Old Trafford!

Pascal Gross scored a brace in the first half to help Brighton win 2-1 over Manchester United 

Ten Hag made the decision to remove Ronaldo from his starting line-up after the Portugal star played only 45 minutes during preseason. 

After being dropped from United's starting lineup, Cristiano Ronaldo was called up from the bench in the 2nd half, but Brighton remained on the winning side and celebrated a historic victory 

Man United holds 63 percent of all the ball, but only two more attempts than Brighton. They outshoot the Seagulls 17-15.

The Red Devils failed to covert the six corner kicks and the credit goes to keeper Robert Sanchez of Brighton was able to save five clean sheets.
