Players fight as Helldivers to protect Super Earth from alien invaders, completing missions and liberating the planet.
Teams of up to four players can embark on missions together, coordinating to defeat alien threats.
To access multiplayer, players must complete the tutorial, which cannot be skipped.
Each player must finish the tutorial and the first solo mission, taking about 20 minutes.
To add friends, access the Social menu, paste friend codes in the Search section, and manage friend requests.
From the Friends section, select a friend and invite them to your squad for missions.
Players can join open squads created by friends, provided the leader's Matchmaking Preference allows it.
