Meta Unveils The New Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses

Meta has unveiled the latest Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, currently open for pre-orders. These glasses empower users to livestream directly on Facebook or Instagram.

use “Hey Meta” to engage with Meta AI, which advanced conversational assistant, just by using your voice.

These updated glasses boast enhanced audio and cameras, offering more than 150 unique frame and lens combinations. They also provide a lighter and more comfortable wear.

Starting at $299 USD, these smart glasses are available for pre-order on meta.com and ray-ban.com. They will be in stores and online from October 17.

The smart glasses lets you take a 12 MP photo or record video and audio clip up to 60 seconds and send them to your loved ones via voice command.

These smart glasses run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform and offer up to 36 hours of usage time with the charging case. They're water-resistant (IPX4) and allow for on-the-go music listening.

Meta revealed plans for a platform enabling both developers and users to craft personalized AI bots. These bots will have Instagram and Facebook profiles and eventually feature as avatars in the metaverse.
