T-Mobile Set To Acquire Mint Mobile & Ultra Mobile

T-Mobile acquired Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile. The deal is estimated to be worth $1.35 billion which includes 39% cash payment and 61% stock. 

T-Mobile, headquartered in Bellevue become one of the most important US cellphone service providers in 2020, after it acquired it's rival 'Sprint'.

 Mint Mobile is partly owned by Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds. The actor stated he was incredibly grateful for the big update.

After the deal, Mint founders Rizwan Kassim and David Glickman will stay at T-Mobile to manage the brands. Reynolds will continue to be Mint's creative director.

Ryan Reynolds' net worth is likely to exceed $300 million in 2023, following the sale of Mint Mobile to T-Mobile. This money has been earned through acting, producing, and brand sponsorships.

T-Mobile anticipates closing the deal in the latter part of this year. It plans to leverage its supplier relationships and distribution scale to help Mint Mobile or Ultra Mobile grow.

T-Mobile plans to increase its own services by acquiring Mint Mobile. CEO of T-Mobile, assured customers that Mint Mobile's $15 per month plan would remain in effect.
