Wipro partners with IBM to offer Cloud solutions

Through this alliance, Wipro would create hybrid offerings to help companies migrate, handle and alter mission-critical applications and operations across private or public cloud and on-premise IT surroundings, stated the Bengaluru-headquartered technology services firm in a media release.

Bengaluru: WiproNSE 3.52 % has partnered with IBM to help customers embark on a hybrid cloud migration journey.

Through this alliance, Wipro will develop hybrid cloud offerings to help move, manage and transform mission-critical operations and applications on public or private cloud and in IT environments, Bengaluru-headquartered in a press release Said the technical services company.

Wipro IBM Novus Lounge, situated at Wipro’s Kodathi campus in Bengaluru, is currently a committed innovation center and will provide an extensive package of solutions including Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Internet of Things abilities to boost innovation for enterprises, developers and start-ups, stated the corporation.

Clients will have remote access to IBM and Red Hat options, designed to assist them scale their tech investments for enhanced expertise and business agility with related insights.

Wipro said it’d also leverage IBM Cloud offerings and technology alongside in-house providers to develop business solutions for customers in sections like banking and financial services, energy and utilities, retail, manufacturing and health.

“Wipro enables customers across businesses to re-imagine their cloud travel with its business-first plan and industrialized solutions strategy. Wipro IBM Novus Lounge will permit us to showcase hybrid multi-cloud and open source alternatives much more comprehensively and support our clients’ constant business transformation travel,” Ramesh Nagarajan, senior vice president, Cloud Services, Wipro, has been quoted saying.
