Microsoft Outlook is over 20 years old, but users are still migrating to it from other mail clients. Windows Live Mail is not just inconvenient, it is obsolete, as its last version was released in 2014.
Users who still have it on their PCs are looking for ways to transfer old emails. This is not straightforward, even though both systems were developed by Microsoft.
Popular versions of Outlook store your correspondence in the PST format. The predecessor used EML for individual messages. Smooth export and import require a reliable Windows Live Mail converter to overcome the format clash.
